Hospitalist
The Physician provides high quality medical/surgical care within the scope of his/her chosen specialty. This care should be comprehensive, coordinated, and patient and family-centered to achieve clinical and service excellence.
Essential Job Functions*:
- Analyze patient’s medical history, examine and evaluate physical condition, order and evaluate results from imaging and testing to verify appropriate treatment and operative procedures.
- Diagnose bodily disorders Medical and Surgical conditions, develop treatment plans and provide treatments during patient hospitalizations.
- Monitor and assess patient’s condition, perform procedures, and treatments consistent with the physician specialty of Hospitalist and as granted in clinical privileges by the Board of Directors.
- Provide consultation to other physicians and surgeons.
Qualifications:
- Education
Required: Graduated from an accredited medical school (MD, DO.)
- Work Experience
Required: Completed Internal Medicine or Family Practice Residency
Preferred: Prior Hospitalist training or three years Hospitalist experience. Hospitalist experience required if Family Practice trained.
- Licensure/Certifications/Registrations
Required: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of NH.
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice

Required: Understanding of hospital operations and environment.
Understanding of Hospitalist Program
Preferred: Computer Skills
