Location: Norfolk, MA - MCI Norfolk and Pondville Correctional Center. Both are all-male correctional facilities in which travel is sometimes required based on institution needs.
Pay rate: $50,000/annually
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, may require an evening or weekend shift as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required.
DOC experience and CADC or LADC preferred.
The Counselor is responsible for:
Assessing and evaluating inmate needs.
Monitoring inmate compliance with all program and Massachusetts Department of Correction (MA DOC) rules and regulations.
Facilitating classes and group sessions as defined by curriculum and according to Spectrum Health Systems standards.
Maintaining records in accordance with Spectrum and MA DOC policies and procedures.
Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed.
Providing case management services as assigned.
