What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer position at Spectrum IT Recruitment?
We are currently partnered with a high-tech engineering and software company based in Maryland who are hiring Systems Engineers with strong Java experience to work onsite at Annapolis Junction, MD.
This is a full-time senior level role working on government projects. Candidates must have active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph. Please do not apply if you don't have this.
Essential experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 14 or more years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of Java development
- Node/TypeScript and some understanding of React
- Linux
- Creating and building modular components used in other applications
Examples of responsibilities:
- Designing and developing modular components
- System architecture diagrams and documentation adhering to customer standards
- Presenting findings and solutions to stakeholders
- System integration for multimedia and SIGINT applications
