Responsibilities
Summary: This position is responsible for designing costumes and accessories for proprietary merchandise.
- Create and develop children, tween and adult costumes and accessories.
- Illustrate, spec and prepare communication for factories.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Compile Presentations.
- Initiative on follow through of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Apparel Design & Production or Costume Design from four-year college or university; and 3-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Technical skills in Design Programs, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. This includes Microsoft Office software. Familiar with PLM systems a plus.
- Passion for Halloween.
- Conceptual, creative, self-starter.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
- Diverse knowledge of popular culture.
