As a Patient Accounts Specialist, you’ll be key in ensuring team members and stakeholders have an exceptional experience. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities will be vital in processing patient statements and managing calls. This role is designed for someone who is a strong communicator, organized, detail-oriented, and prioritizes patient satisfaction.

What You'll be Doing
- Processes patient statements (outbound) according to the appropriate schedule, including final notices.
- Answer inbound calls from patients in order of when they are received, managing the patient statement line, and corresponding voicemails.
- Create and maintain necessary reports that facilitate the workflow and report results.
- Route calls to Full Cycle Billers, Schedulers, and Verifiers as needed to assist the patient in fulfilling their needs.
- Review, analyze, interpret, explain, communicate, balance, and correct patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner.
- Process patient payments, and post payments to the patient accounts.

What You Bring to the Role
- Minimum associate’s degree.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a medical field with medical insurance.
- Excellent communication skills with emphasis on customer service.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.
