Description
Sportech, Inc., a leader in the pari-mutuel wagering industry seeks a part-time Mutual Teller, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The ideal candidate for this role would have previous Customer Service and Cash handling experience.
Purpose
Responsible for completing monetary transactions and associated documentation for mutuel betting in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Greet customers and give friendly, accurate and efficient service.
- Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with CT lottery regulations and company policies.
- Exchange all currency for Mutuel betting.
- Maintain an accurate bank balance.
- Transfer monies to and from workstations.
- Operate ten-key adding machine.
- Keep work area clean and supplies stocked.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be detailed-oriented
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to stand or sit for duration of shift.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain DCP license
