JOB PURPOSE
The Professional Services Group (PSG) is primarily focused on producing quality customized products for our numerous consumer groups. Our current areas of specialty are Embroidery, Screen Printing, Heat Press, Direct to Garment and Sublimation operations.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization._ In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude._
MAJOR ACCOUNTABLITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Lead and mentor a team of direct/indirect employees surpassing 300 people during peak times.
- Monitor and drive shift performance versus productivity, quality, service and equipment goals
- Monitor daily/weekly shift staffing levels against production and equipment requirements
- Monitor new employee performance and ensure new employees are properly trained/cross-trained to meet production needs.
- Ensure that organizational policies are followed by all employees
- Participate in crossover meetings to ensure smooth transitions across shifts
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on proper use of equipment and resources
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop and execute plans to realize said improvements.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Minimum experience of 5 years In production management in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Minimum of four-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, process documentation and quality systems a plus.
- Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
- Experience with SAP a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with proven problem solving ability
- Proven track record of providing leadership and motivation to large group of employees.
