Spreetail is looking for a Sr. Planning Manager who will optimize all aspects of highly complex orders. We are looking for someone who can lead demand forecasts for large brands and work with the brand to schedule out orders to minimize out-of-stock rates, maximize inventory, and maximize efficiency. We need someone who is continually looking for opportunities to improve this process.
\n- Forecast, flow & manage orders for some of our largest brands, and calibrate multi-million dollar order plans. Optimize all aspects of highly complex orders - flow, quantity, order timing, and terms. Thus leading our COGS strategy and influencing the financial strategy and outcome of our business.
- Be responsible for developing & implementing processes and activities across the planning team area as it pertains to procurement of retail products. Partner with Finance to ensure our inventory strategy aligns with our financing capabilities.
- Provide in-depth analysis to identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability from an inventory standpoint. Be able to consolidate large volumes of data - shipments, sales, inventory, market share, and markdown cadence.
- Lead demand forecast for large brands and work with the brand to schedule out orders to minimize out-of-stock rates, maximize inventory, and maximize efficiency. Continually reviewing prior period performance and identifying opportunities and threats in our inventory plan.
- Use channel data and customer insights to develop SKU-level forecasts. Continually looking for opportunities to improve this process. Delivery of ad hoc analysis to the leadership of Supply Chain & Merchant teams as needed.
- 5 years of experience in inventory management, financial planning, and financial analysis.
- P&L management experience.
- Process management experience.
- Capable Excel skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel.
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills and retail and import order planning experience.
