Customer Relations Coordinator

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for an enthusiastic customer relations coordinator with strong communications skills to join its growing Customer Relations team. This person will receive, document and respond to customer phone calls and website submissions using personalized written communication and approved messaging on the fly. Response topics will be related to Sprouts’ merchandise, team members, values, policies and store locations and other areas of the business. This position supports customer loyalty and is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in growing a career in the retail industry. This role will initially be remote until the Sprouts Store Support Office resumes normal business hours. Training will be conducted both in the office and remotely.

- Answers a high volume of customer calls and website submittals promptly, accurately and professionally, and is skilled in dealing with difficult and complex customer situations
- Provides customers with relevant information, troubleshoots issues and facilitates the resolution process by liaising with store teams and Support Office staff
- Effectively manages and prioritizes department tasks in order to maintain a consistently high level of productivity and maintain established weekly schedule for case management, follow up, case review and reporting
- Has extensive knowledge of and stays current on customer processes, requirements, company procedures and the SOP in order to respond to a wide variety of customer inquiries and complaints
- Composes customized correspondence to customers when appropriate
- Utilizes ServiceNow CRM and other information systems to manage customer cases from initial contact to resolution and closure
- Accurately records details of customer feedback, updates and actions taken; Obtains and evaluates all relevant data in order to respond to customer feedback, including difficult and complex issues
- Identifies and escalates priority issues to management exercising sound judgment

- Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum four years of experience in customer relations, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adequately and completely respond to customer inquiries
- Related experience or retailer experience is a plus
- An interest in a corporate career in retail, health, natural foods and/or vitamins and body care
- Requires high energy, resilience, excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must enjoy helping people, have a patient, friendly manner and a good memory that allows for recalling product details, policies and procedures
- Ability to assist customers in troubleshooting website and app platforms
- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities
- Ability to utilize appropriate discretion and judgment in dispensing information, which may be susceptible to misunderstanding or misuse
- Ability to understand the customer’s needs quickly and develop appropriate response, and apply effective and empathetic listening in conversations with customers
- Ability to quickly utilize reference manuals and online resources
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
