Assembly Worker (1st Shift, No Weekends!)

Squire Boone Village is a nationally renowned manufacturer of crystal rock candy, souvenirs, and gifts who supplies well-known tourist attractions and accounts throughout the United States. We are a local, family owned business and have been open in New Albany for over 40 years!

Job Description:

Packaging workers are needed to package candies and souvenir items.

• 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday thru Friday shift. No required weekends or overtime.
• Less than 20 minute commute to New Albany is strongly preferred and reliable daily transportation is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Packing candy in bags, tubs, boxes, and other containers with a team of packagers.
• Maintains knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and stored correctly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• The ability to quickly and safely learn production operations and equipment.
• Physical ability to occasionally lift 35 lb boxes.
• Physical ability to work standing for significant periods of time.
• Physical and hand dexterity to package items in various containers.
