This position is a Full-time role at St. Anthony Hospital Midwest City.

Job Summary:
Maintains floor surfaces and stairwells, including but not limited to the following: sweeps, mops, buffs, polishes, scrubs, strips, vacuums, spot cleans, and extracts using heavy equipment. May Perform restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas in flooring.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains floor surfaces and stairwells, including but not limited to the following: sweeps, mops, buffs, polishes, scrubs, strips, vacuums, spot cleans, and extracts using heavy equipment. May Perform restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas in flooring.
- Complete documentation of project work performed on appropriate forms within established time frames. Properly identifies her/himself, respects privacy and confidentiality when serving patients and other customers.
- Assembles necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for the specific work assignment and reports equipment that is in need of repair. Cleans and maintains all equipment used on shift including vacuum, cart, mop buckets, floor machines, floor signs, trash carts, furniture moving equipment, and all other equipment necessary to perform the functions of this job according to established procedure.
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies, and cleaning techniques according to procedures and manufacturer recommendations. Ensures all chemicals are safely stored, handled, and disposed of as stated on the material safety data sheets.
- Adheres to safety precautions, policies, procedures and standards for handling infectious wastes, hazardous materials, waste spills, and exposures. Reports all events as required by ministry documentation standards.
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies, and cleaning techniques according to procedures and manufacturer recommendations. Ensures all chemicals are safely stored, handled, and disposed of as stated on the material safety data sheets.
- Replenishes supplies and materials in assigned areas.
- May transport trash, hazardous waste, soiled linen, and recyclable trash to appropriate disposal areas following policies, procedures, and standards.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent reaching and gripping.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Occasional use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Rare crawling, sitting and keyboard use/data entry.
