JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all administrative duties for the department. Will assist with employee recognition programs. Responsible for processing, logging and maintenance of all new hire, rehire and terminated personnel and documents. Prepare and process related reports for other departments on a timely basis. In this position you will be responsible to provide support for Training and Development by assisting employees with all online training courses.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desired. Previous office experience, preferred. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with all staff.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be accurate, detail oriented and have excellent organization skills. Must have the ability to prioritize projects. Must be able to work independently while following verbal and/or written instructions. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee information and work materials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide necessary information to the proper personnel and departments within the Enterprise. Assist in verifying information in the ADP payroll system. Assist with employee recognition programs. Assist employees with online training courses. Maintain all active and inactive I-9 forms per employee. Assists newly hired and rehired personnel in completing employment forms. Inform newly hired and rehired personnel on basic company policies and procedures. Perform various clerical tasks in relation to preparation of personnel records. Process employee terminations, route documents to the appropriate staff. Assist in other department related functions as necessary. Maintain and update St. Croix Casino Job Postings on a daily basis. May be required to follow other instructions and perform other departmental duties, as may be required by the Manager. Reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
