Salary :
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for direct client care and administrative duties for primary care services with the specialty provider team.
Responsibilities :
- Assist to provide direct care services for specialty services (i.e., podiatry, psychiatry, nutrition).
- Follow-up on client referrals Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks : check in, vitals, obtaining client history, assist with medical examinations.
- Performs routine procedures as injections, venipunctures and sterile dressing changes as directed by medical personnel.
- Perform medication inventory control checks.
- Perform essential work within Electronic Health Record system and program data entry systems with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate in a culturally competent and effective manner to clients / caregivers regarding the services available.
- Other tasks / duties as assigned.
