15- $19.70 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities : - Makes rounds on the unit looking for items needing attention.- Straightens utility rooms, linen rooms and pantry as needed.
- Assists with meal service, passing trays, and clearing of tables.- Makes beds and tidy up rooms. Passes out clean linen.
- Assures ice water is available on the units.- Answers call lights and performs non-nursing duties - reporting to nursing when resident needs hands-on assistance or care from a licensed nurse.
- Screens visitors. - Responsible for miscellaneous duties as assigned.Requirements : - Ability to push carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.- Climb stairs, reach above or below shoulder height.- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to get along with residents of various cultures and backgrounds.- Strong problem-solving skills. - Provides prompt and efficient assistance.
- Must treat residents' information as confidential.Minimum Qualifications : Education : - High school diploma / GED preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.Personal Protective Equipment : - Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
