St. Therese School is seeking a full time kindergarten classroom teacher assistant.

Responsibilities
- Implement activities and opportunities that encourage children’s curiosity, exploration, and problem solving.
- Provide care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of students while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church.
- Assist the lead classroom teacher in preparing materials, directing activities, and caring for each individual student while encouraging spiritual and mental growth to ensure proper development is taking place.
- Participate in and complete required training through professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate professionalism, including confidentiality, when working with administration, staff,
parents and children, while promoting positive relationships and effectively communicating with others.
- Lead children to meet high behavior standards
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors.
- Must be physically able to perform the job of a teacher of young children.
- Perform other duties as assigned by building administration.
- Be an active member of a faith community and be a model of the teachings of Jesus
Requirements:
- Preferred CDC or Bachelors in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related field
- Provide a letter of reference from your pastor.
