Saint Ursula Academy, located in East Walnut Hills, is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women started by the Ursuline Sisters of Cincinnati.
Saint Ursula Academy is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and mission-driven Director of Annual Giving and Constituent Development to lead all aspects of our annual fundraising programs, including the Saint Ursula Fund (SUF) and sponsorship initiatives. This role plays a critical part in cultivating relationships with alumnae, families, faculty/staff, and the broader community to foster deeper engagement and expanded philanthropic support.
The Director works closely with the VP of Advancement and Advancement team to grow Saint Ursula’s visibility, impact, and financial resources, ensuring that our mission thrives for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all annual giving initiatives, including the SUF and sponsorships
- Build and strengthen relationships with constituents: alumnae, families, faculty/staff, and community members
- Implement strategies to cultivate donor engagement and increase giving
- Assist in planning and execution of major fundraising events
- Support major gift initiatives and work collaboratively to expand the donor pipeline
- Partner with the VP of Advancement on grant applications and reporting
- Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and Ursuline core values of Saint Ursula Academy
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in a non-profit environment, specifically in institutional advancement, is required. This position also requires excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills with a strong knowledge of donor management systems and fundraising software platforms. The position also requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Competitive compensation package includes medical, dental and vision insurance benefits, 403(b) retirement plan with a 6% employer contribution after 24 months of service, 2 weeks of paid vacation, 23 paid holidays with additional time allotted for sick days, and a $50,000 life insurance policy with access to additional voluntary life for the employee, spouse and dependents. Tuition remission is provided for the employee's daughter(s) attending Saint Ursula Academy incrementally up to 100% (after 5 years of service). Employee, spouse, and qualifying dependent(s) are also eligible to receive a University of Cincinnati Business Scholarship for qualifying online classes.
