Day (United States of America) Employment Recruiter The Employment Recruiter coordinates and maintains a viable and productive program of Recruitment of professional personnel to maintain Halifax Health's identified needs for qualified professional staff. - BA/BS Degree in related field required. - 2-5 years' experience in recruitment; preferably healthcare. - Must understand and exceed client expectations in all aspects of the Employment function. - Must have professional presentation skills and ability to communicate knowledgeably about positions, openings, benefits, and compensation. - Must have the ability to interface with all levels of management and staff. - Computer experience to include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) required. - If a Registered Nurse, current Florida licensure necessary. - Hiring of qualified nursing and non-nursing applicants who have successfully met HH employment criteria. - Maintain professional recruitment and retention function to efficiently and effectively accomplish departmental and system goals and objectives. - Knowledgeable regarding practices and trends in recruitment. Accomplishment of goals and objectives. - Works with employment team to develop activities. - Maintains an awareness of the nature and needs of HH departments. - Establishes liaison with community, state, and national centers which have quality recruitment potential. - Participates on hospital committees in procedure revisions as they pertain to recruitment and retention. - Develops a facilitator role. - Participates in Human Resource Department policy formation, objectives and philosophy. - Performs other duties as required.
