What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center Representative position at Staffinders Inc?
Looking for a MINIMUM 2 year Call Center or Business to Business experience.
The Call Center Representative provides health insurance information by telephone to prospective policy holders (inquiries) and process payments for current policy holders all while working in a completive/dynamic environment with room for advancement!
- Establishes contact with prospective customers through inbound telephone calls.
- Asks preliminary qualifying enrollment questions.
- Provides basic information about policies/programs individuals are eligible for.
- Records/inputs information in policy database.
- Ability to navigate/troubleshoot inbound customer issues regarding policies using in-house software system.
- Maintains compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures, laws and regulations.
- Works in a Call Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Call Center is open Monday through Friday 8am-6pm, and Contact Center Representatives are staffed during all hours of operation.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance, and is able to work evenings and weekends as required.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to communicate and persuade others. Possess strong interpersonal skills such as:
- The ability to build cooperative relationships with a diverse customer base by being perceptive of others’ reactions.
- Selling or influencing others—convincing others to change their minds or actions.
- Efficiently and effectively utilize a personal computer and related software including Microsoft Office, the Internet and Policy database software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and due date pressures utilizing strong planning, organization and time management skills while generating a high level of quality work product.
- Able to provide examples of projects or tasks completed independently.
- Past history of developing constructive and cooperative relationships with others.
