We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Executive for a large, global B2B Software company. This role will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the ServiceNow Platform. This includes being the First last point of escalation within the technical support department and mentoring, working with other junior team members in the various technologies.
This is a 12-month project (Extension or Conversion to FTE Possible), 40 hours per week, hybrid role, 2 days onsite at Client’s office in Santa Clara, CA.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Must be able and willing to work outside of normal business hours (evening/weekend shifts, holidays) as needed.
Must be a US citizen or a green card holder.

Compensation: $40/hr. - $46.33/hr. on W2

Responsibilities
- Managing and resolving the most challenging issues.
- Last point of escalation within the technical support department and mentoring junior team members in the various technologies.
- Quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
- 2 years of experience as a developer.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues
- Working knowledge of the components in a web application stack
- Experience writing or debugging Object Oriented code (Java preferred, other relevant technologies ok)
- Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience administering: Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical systems
- Proven ability to maintain a professional demeanor when handling complex user issues
- This is a customer-facing role and therefore it requires strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
- A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, or CMDB
- Deep understanding of JavaScript.
- Advanced MySQL or Oracle experience
- Experience in diagnosing performance degradation
- Understanding of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, and PowerShell.
