Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PERSON to join our team, specializing in tree care and heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and Caterpillar machinery with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using bucket trucks and rigging
- Conduct tree care assessments to determine appropriate maintenance or removal strategies
- Utilize GPS technology for precise navigation and project planning in large-scale operations
- Execute rigging procedures for lifting and positioning heavy tree sections or equipment safely
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of work zones, ensuring all safety measures are in place during operations
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment used
Requirements
- Proven experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, loaders, and bucket trucks
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and removal methods
- Experience with rigging systems for lifting large or awkward loads
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while adhering to safety standards
- Physical stamina for climbing, working at heights, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of GPS systems for navigation during large-scale projects
