Responsibilities
- Work with & manage the Sales Support/Customer Service associates in both the Illinois and Indiana markets.
- Create an environment that maintains a strong customer first focus by assuring the team always goes the extra mile.
- Foster teamwork and accountability.
- Communicate business initiatives, sales & service performance, and goals.
- Manage, train, and develop associates by providing ongoing coaching and feedback to facilitate outstanding customer satisfaction
- Identify and implement a culture of continuous improvement including processes, procedures, service enhancements and operational efficiencies
- Work in collaboration with account managers delivering such service to become the “Trusted Advisor” and create value for our customers.
- Ability to travel to Standard Electric Locations (4 in Illinois and 2 in Indiana) 5 to 7 days per month to meet with team.
Qualifications
- Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and project management skills.
- 2-4 years of management experience desired.
- 5 years of work experience in customer service.
- Experience in electrical distribution, is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills (process-oriented).
- Ability to foster teamwork and motivate individual performers.
- Excellent written, and oral skills, as well as strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish them in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Reader.
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for occasional travel outside state.
