We are hiring a qualified Fleet Mechanic to provide preventive maintenance and repairs on vehicles. The Fleet Mechanic will assist management with fleet planning, provide hands-on vehicle training, collect, and maintain data on vehicle maintenance history. This position will cover our two branches in the Seattle area and drive company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily/weekly inspections tune-ups and non-safety critical repairs on all fleet trucks and equipment
- Perform internal and external maintenance tasks
- Respond to emergency work in the field for vehicle repair or assistance
- On-call and work weekends as needed
- Provide vehicle/equipment technical support for technicians and management
- Maintain and update vehicle and equipment maintenance histories
- Conduct other tasks as assigned
