Job Duties:
Enter sales orders and order changes, including quotes, preparation and follow-up on purchase orders, and confirmation of shipment dates.
Taking a high volume of phone calls and answering emails timely.
Researching and responding to inventory requests.
Researching and responding to shipment status requests and tracking shipments via carriers.
Assist with reports and other special projects to support the Customer Service Department.
Assist with Sales product issues.
Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively and pleasantly with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
AS400 order entry experience a plus.
Ability to type quickly and accurately while speaking with customers on the phone.
Ability to navigate and organize emails using MS Outlook.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to schedule and prioritize work, identify potential problems, and implement solutions before they occur.
Extreme attention to detail and timely follow-up is required to ensure success.
Experience with MS Office is a plus.
