ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Site Director will oversee the daily operation of a preschool or early childhood afterschool program for children in Preschool through 1st Grade.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and school administrators
Build strong relationships with young children through positive guidance and structured routines
Manage daily attendance, parent sign-outs, and staff timesheets
Collaborate with staff to design monthly lesson plans, activities, and enrichment units tailored to early learners
Supervise all classroom and outdoor program activities
Manage program budget and purchase necessary supplies
Lead a small team of educators: conduct evaluations, coach performance, and train in early childhood best practices
