Description
Our growing Chain and International business units are in need of an organized and skilled communicator and problem solver to join our team as a Sales Coordinator. We need an enthusiastic individual to provide group sales and service support to the Chain and International Sales Teams. The Sales Coordinator will act as a liaison between internal departments (and customers), including; Sales, Customer Service, Parts and Service, Engineering, Finance and Manufacturing. The Sales Coordinator will be well-trained in product knowledge on ALL brands within the Group which is critical to offer quick and accurate assistance and solutions.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Assist in coordination of field service issues and solutions and track\communicate resolution to all stakeholders as needed
- Track service issue trends for potential warranty and customer impact for analysis.
- Work with Tech Service, Quality, Production and Engineering for short and long-term solutions
- Assist in resolution of non-common issues such as delivery schedules, back orders, late shipments etc. Identify trends and suggest resolution strategies as necessary
- Maintain pricing and generate quotes at the direction of the sales team using AutoQuotes. Track active quote status, e.g. expiration dates. Convert all current quotes over to a common format
- Cooridinate test and prototype units, track and report progress. Flag key dates for follow-up
- Work with manufacturing to prioritize compromised shipping schedules and communicate to all stakeholders
- Collect new business opportunities, gather all pertinent information and distribute to sales team for follow-up
- Assist outside sales in coordinating customer visits and making internal preparations for a great customer experience.
- Active in product development and assist as needed
- Provide requested data form current sales reports to identify trends
- Assist in pricing development
- Other duties assigned as required
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred
- Proven experience in customer support, sales support and technical service roles
- Self-motived, self-starter capable of communicating and expediting information and solutions to “non-common” issues between internal departments, outside sales personnel and customers
- Strong communication skills and active listening; able to remain professional and courteous at all times
- Experience managing multiple projects from inception to completion
- Experience with highly matrix organization
- Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Knowledge of our current reporting and internal systems is required
- Required work location – Smithville, TN
Due to this being a key position within the organization, this position will be a Salary – Exempt role with on-call responsibilities and occasional travel to customer events/shows.
