SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing all manager function on shifts, managing staff, handling customer issues as needed, and ensure communication with Manager and Department Heads.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises staff and trains new hires.
Handles complaints and guest issues. Performs cash handles duties.
Performs basic accounting duties.
Oversees completion of team assignments on a daily basis.
Responsible for cost control in regards to Inventory/Office Supplies and staff scheduling. Assists in the new hire interview process.
Acts as primary trainer of new hires.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
