ABOUT US: Stars Therapy Services is a leader in providing assessments and Early Intervention for children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays in a naturalistic environment. This includes providing Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy using evidence-based practices, while also maintaining cultural sensitivity. We are a contracted and dedicated service provider through the San Andreas Regional Center that services families throughout 4 counties: Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Stars Therapy Services is currently seeking detail-oriented and enthusiastic individuals who can handle high-volume calls to work in our office in San Jose, CA. This position requires language proficiency in both English and Spanish.
ROLE OVERVIEW: The Client Support Specialist (CSS) processes referrals and educates families on the steps and procedures to access care. The CSS provides excellent customer service with exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism.
REPORTS TO: Director of Intake & Scheduling
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive direct experience in a similar role (high volume staff/client scheduling)- Ability to multitask and prioritize, with high attention to detail.
- Professional oral and written communication and comprehension skills
- Effective de-escalation skills, and ability to quickly adapt to and handle changes.
- Ability to solve problems both independently and collectively.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in collaborating with colleagues and leadership.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new technologies/medical record systems.
- Experience in early intervention/ABA preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to office location.- Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
