Stars Therapy Services is a company dedicated to empowering children and families toward happiness and wellness. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our clinical team in the Bay Area to provide play based therapy to children ranging from birth to 3 years old. Both Full Time and Part Time Pediatric Occupational Therapists with a passion for working with infants & toddlers in their formative years. You must be comfortable working in a clinic setting as well as traveling to client homes. Whether you have worked in a school or had your own private practice, if your vision is to serve the community, we are looking for you.


Job Type and compensation:

Independent contractor: $180-$220 per assessment

Hourly Rate: $50-$70/hr (billable)

Full-time Salary (32 hours per week): $90k-$120k 10% performance incentives

Language: Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese

Role Overview:

As an occupational therapist focused primarily on assessments, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients with various physical, cognitive, and developmental disorders. Your role includes administering standardized tests, observing clients in different settings, and gathering detailed case histories to diagnose functional and occupational performance issues. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and provide clear, concise reports to inform intervention strategies. Additionally, you will participate in staff training to ensure best practices in assessment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid California license; CBOT certification (OTR/L) required
  • 2 - 3 years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; American Sign Language or bilingual ability preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and collaborate with peers/leadership.
  • Up-to-date CPR & First Aid Certification (adult, child, & infant) or ability to obtain
  • Experience with the following assessment tools preferred, but not required: Battelle Developmental Inventory-3 and REEL 4


Basic & Physical Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites. Valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
