STAT Home Health is seeking PRN Home Health Registered Nurses (RN) with Psychiatric experience to join one of the most respected and trusted home health companies in Lake Charles, LA.

Job Duties:
- Supervise patient care
- Coordinate all aspects of patient care; initiate and update the plan of care
- Complete all documents timely, including Oasis, 485, order submission
- Supervise, orient, and teach other clinical personnel when needed
- Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws including problem resolution, complaint investigation
Qualifications:
- Current Louisiana RN license & CPR certification required
- RN with a masters degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing; or RN with a bachelors degree in nursing with one year of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic; or RN with a diploma or associate degree with two years of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic.
- Compassionate Psychiatric RN with great time management skills
- Professional knowledge and experience indicating an adequate understanding of diagnoses and treatments of mental disorder and medication side effects/effects
- Previous Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
