Job Summary
The Corporations Division approves corporate names and grants corporate or limited liability company status to entities organizing under the laws of the State of Arizona; grants authority to foreign corporations and limited liability companies to transact business in the State; collects annual reports from all corporations of record; and maintains records for the benefit of public record and service of process
Job Duties
You will be responsible for filling customer work order requests and producing certificates or copies of documents. You will research Division records (electronic, hard copy, microfiche, microfilm) in accordance with state statutes (A.R.S. Titles 10 & 29). Additional duties include acceptance of Service of Process upon entities and producing appropriate documentation. You will collect processing fees and respond to general inquiries. Customer interaction will be in person, via email, and occasionally by telephone.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Mastery of effective customer service techniques
Basic math and cash handling skills
Excellent listening, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in explaining compliance requirements
Research skills
Ability to interact positively with customers via the telephone, correspondence or in person, including facilitating the resolution of customer complaints
Ability to learn and comprehend filing requirements according to Titles 10 & 29 (limited liability companies) of Arizona Revised Statutes
Proficient PC skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in various situations in a fast-paced environment
