- Provides technical support and services to external customers both over the phone and in person.
- Review, sort, and route incoming correspondence, applications, and requests for information. Scan documents for use in storing, tracking, and retrieving.
- Processes all bounce-back emails that were undeliverable in the PELSB General Email Box.
- Reviews and processes Center for Educator Licensing (CEL) and Educators online requests.
- Provide backup support with the processing of paper checks to ensure there is no backlog of checks.
- Customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer’s needs, meet quality standards for services, that result in customer satisfaction
- Data entry procedures and systems, such as Microsoft Office or similar data entry systems.
- Knowledge of word processing sufficient to use software to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Locate Identify and correct data entry errors
- Accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data
- Communicate in a variety of formats to gather and relay information with tact and diplomacy
- Knowledge of licensure process for teachers, related service personnel, and administrators to ensure applicants are applying for the appropriate licensure.
- Knowledge of licensing operating systems including Access, PLD, Center for Educator Licensing (CEL) and Educators sufficient to process work accordingly.
- Experience with the licensing process sufficient to answer technical licensing questions
