Reporting directly to the Director of Children and Family Services, you will provide executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Duties: As the Executive Assistant to the CFS Director you will: • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the global operations of the organization. • Manage projects from kick-off to stakeholder meetings to completion, including setting schedules, managing resources, and anticipating roadblocks. • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the organization • Plans, coordinates, and ensures the Director’s schedule is followed and respected. • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Director's office, internal divisions, and external partners; demonstrating leadership to promote and maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff. • Manage scheduling, multiple priorities and confidentiality. Hiring Rate - $20.023 per hour – Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Dress Attire: Business Casual Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in public or business administration, accounting, or any discipline related to the work assigned. One year of experience in administrative, business management or technical support work including collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data; or interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications: Strong work tenure: 3 to 5 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response. Executive presence and problem-solving skills. Having the following is a plus for this position: knowledge of child welfare and legislative process, communication and marketing skills, and lean six sigma.
