The Local Assistance Division is expanding its team with the addition of a dedicated support specialist to enhance our efforts in adding Local Public Agencies regarding funding, project delivery, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
The role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including project management, communications, and administrative support.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to fill this high-level support role.

The pay rate is $22.68 - $33.44 per hour.
The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved.

Duties:
The Administrative Programs Officer II plays an important role in performing a wide range of project management, communication, and administrative support functions for the Local Assistance Division.
You will:
- Manage abundant information requests from external partners and stakeholders.
- Research, analyze, and develop data to support decisions of the Division.
- Manage Technical Assistance Programs and consult on special projects.
- Provide and manage annual training program through the federal 504e program.
- Update ever-changing information through website and social media to external stakeholders.
- Be empowered to identify and resolve issues.
- Improve the quality of life that impacts fellow Nebraskans and travelers through our state.
- Work in and promote an environment of partnership, continuous learning, and process improvement.
- Develop an understanding of federal aid provided to our Local Public Agencies
