- Assists in ensuring overall program quality and serves as liaison to the Staff Development Department
- Assists in coordinating the orientation of new cottage employees and agency Nursing staff to ensure staff are properly introduced to Murdoch Developmental Center and cottage policies and procedures
- Conducts Quality Assurance monitoring, second shift/weekend monitoring, goal observations, chart audits, mealtime observations, divisional safety checks, review of division policies and submits training reports to Staff Development

- Three (3) years experience in health care work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team
- Knowledge in MS Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Ability to communicate verbally and adapt training methods to audience to relay training needs and assure adherence to policies and procedures
- Ability to organize and plan their schedule with minimal supervision
- Applicant must have the ability to pass a physical requirements test, must be certified in or able to obtain an instructor certification in NVCI and APS (Crisis Prevention Institute) and AHA Health Care Provider (CPR), Body Mechanics and lifting.
