What are the responsibilities and job description for the REGISTERED NURSE A position at State of Rhode Island?
- To provide professional nursing within an in-patient facility or community service facility.
- To participate in the intake process by interviewing, assessing, and formulating nursing diagnosis and goal setting for patients/clients.
- To interpret nursing and health care needs to other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- To act as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team.
- To provide medical and nursing therapies, health care instructions and counseling to clients and families.
- To document interactions with clients according to agency policy.
- To apply the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, in the care of clients.
- To communicate health, medical and nursing information to other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- To provide instructions to patients/clients and staff on an on-going basis.
- To monitor health status of patients/clients.
- To do related work as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating treatment plans and nursing care plans. The candidate will also be responsible for auditing charts for documentation compliance.
Pre-Employment Requirements for all candidates to receive a position at ESH or RISPH is the proof of immunity against:
