Job Duties:
- The Data Verification Specialist provides quality customer service, support, and resources to SC Early Care and Education Workforce practitioners throughout each phase of their Individual application and membership processes. The position requires speed, accuracy, attention to detail, strong ability to analyze information, and high-level communication skills. This position must be able to provide high-quality support to early care and education workforce practitioners and partner agencies in SC.
- Reviews, evaluates and verifies education and professional development documents (degrees, academic transcripts, CPR/FA cards, etc.) uploaded to individual profiles according to established SC Endeavors Registry policies and procedures; a. Electronically process and calculate career ladder membership applications while ensuring the process strictly follows all documented policies and procedures. b. Electronically process CPR/First Aid submissions while ensuring the process strictly follows all documented policies and procedures.
- Analyzes information to provide clear, effective and high-quality support to profile holders in person, via email, and/or by phone. a. Supporting the Registry team in ensuring optimal customer support. b. Organize, maintain and update files for registered professionals in a confidential manner c. Professionally communicate and interact with partner agencies, stakeholders and clients.
- Provides information to the early childhood community regarding the policies, procedures, and benefits of the Registry.
- Provides statistical information and reports for the Registry
- Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
- Perform other related duties as requested by management.
Project management experience, customer service experience, and experience using an online data system.
