A growing and well-established general business law firm based in Towson, Maryland is seeking a Transactional Attorney with a strong tax background to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring of corporate, partnership, and real estate transactions
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, business formation documents, and related transactional agreements
- Collaborate on mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and asset sales
- Provide tax guidance on business transactions and estate planning strategies
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on federal and state tax issues
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Maryland (or able to waive in)
- 2 years of transactional experience, including a focus on corporate, tax, or real estate matters
- LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required
- Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow within a dynamic practice
