Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret flat blueprints
- Perform safe operation of flat lasers
- Log job information accurately into computer
- Pull and coordinate parts for transport as needed
- Perform quality checks on parts
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning assignments as needed
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Line Lead/Supervisor
Position Details:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:00pm
- Pay Range: Up to $30.00/hour (based on experience, skill set, and shift schedule)
- $2,000 Retention Bonus
Job Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- At least 1 years of experience running flat lasers
- Basic ability to read flat blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior ISO experience
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior overhead crane experience
- Prior fabrication coursework
- Outstanding attention to detail
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to continuously stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to continuously sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to continuously lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
Working Environment: Working conditions include regular exposure to noise, dust, metal debris, and changes in ambient temperature. Requires use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
