SteerBridge seeks a QA Engineer for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Modern Disability Claims. The QA Engineer should have 3 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases across UI, API, security, and performance layers. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality across the development lifecycle, using tools like Selenium, JMeter, and TestRail, and ensuring compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of experience in QA engineering or software testing hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, and TestRail
- Experience with API testing, using tools like Postman or similar
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility testing standards
- Understanding of QA best practices across agile/scrum development environments
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for UI, API, performance, and security testing
- Utilize Selenium for browser automation and JMeter for performance and load testing
- Implement and execute test plans and test cases using TestRail or similar test management tools
- Perform Section 508 accessibility testing to ensure compliance with federal accessibility standards
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira or similar
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define quality standards and resolve bugs efficiently
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) testing pipelines
