Position: Family Support Specialist
Work Schedule: Part to Full Time (24-40 hours)
We are looking for an experienced Family Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Family Support Specialist provides developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers, develops recommendations for target outcomes, and provides direct services and parent coaching on strategies for daily routines. You will function as a collaborative member of the early support team by providing and receiving consultation as needed.
Steps is a non-profit agency established in 1985. We provide in home therapy, education, and parent support for children 0-36 months with developmental delays on Whidbey Island, San Juan County, and Anacortes, WA. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, or related field. Equivalent work experience in early childhood or special education settings also considered.
Valid Washington State Teacher Certification with Special education and/or Early Childhood Special Education endorsement, encouraged.
First Aid, Infant/Child CPR, and HIV/AIDS training.
Demonstrate basic computer competency.

The compensation range for this position is $27.45 – $50.78 per hour based on experience level and credentials of the candidate.
