This position provides technical services and support for all aspects of Stevens Point Area Public School District systems including but not limited to hardware, software, infrastructure and users. Work with departments as needed on special projects or solutions/designs or directed by the Director of Technology, providing the most effective, cost-efficient technology services and support.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or 3 years work related experience A Certification, Microsoft Certification desired. 2 years experience in PC hardware/software installation and support, 1 year experience in the implementation of basic local area networks and TCP/IP communications, security/anti-virus software, and general network troubleshooting. Knowledge of PC’s and components, servers and components, PC-based productivity software, and communications networks.
