Job Summary:
The Used Car Manager represents the dealership in evaluating and purchasing vehicles to purchase to add to the pre-owned inventory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Purchase and manage pre-owned inventory
- Purchase units online and in person at auctions
- Search social media (ie Facebook, Craigs list, etc.) to purchase pre-owned inventory
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- At least 3 years experience in purchasing pre-owned inventory is required
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Great attitude with professional appearance and good work ethic
- Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand 8 hours a day
- Must be able to tolerate working in hot and cold weather
- Must be able to kneel, bend, twist
