As the Deli Manager, you will lead one of the most important operations in our company. Your leadership will ensure every sandwich, soup, salad, and smile we serve reflects the quality and pride that defines Wheat Montana. You will shape a team, uphold our standards, and drive results in a high-traffic, high-expectation environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a team of deli staff with clarity, purpose, and energy
- Scheduling shifts and managing labor to meet customer demand and labor targets
- Training, coaching, and mentoring team members to deliver excellence every day
- Maintaining pristine food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe-level leadership expected)
- Overseeing prep, line operations, product quality, and service speed
- Controlling waste, portioning, food cost, and inventory
- Coordinating with Bakery and Customer service departments for seamless guest experience
- Creating an environment where employees are motivated and customers feel at home
- Being hands-on during peak hours and a strategic thinker when planning the

Qualifications
Who You Are
- A proven leader with 2–5 years of experience managing food service or deli operations
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and lead by example under pressure
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Passionate about food, people, and Montana values
- You know how to hold people accountable and lift them up
- Familiar with food safety, inventory control, customer service, and team development
- Flexible, hardworking, and not afraid to jump behind the line
- Strong communicator with solid computer skills (POS, scheduling, ordering)
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
