Job Summary And Qualifications
PURPOSE
Under immediate supervision of the Technical Director and/or medical technologist. Will perform CLIA waived testing, processes specimens, and performs phlebotomy, clerical duties (i.e. answering telephone calls, filing paperwork and slides, faxing documents) and assisting with inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
Licensure: None
Certification: BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire.
Experience: Experience training as a MLT student preferred.
Three years experience as phlebotomist, drawing neonates, pediatrics, adults and geriatrics. Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written and clerical skills.
