About the Role:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing manufacturing processes and equipment, supporting the launch of new products, and coordinating maintenance activities within their area.
This role will play a key part in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for all plant personnel
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs
- Specify, design, and procure new manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Support timely and cost-effective launches of new products and platforms
- Program and manage CNC robotic tube benders
- Install and program vision inspection systems
- Implement mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) across all production equipment
- Monitor and improve product and process quality
- Oversee maintenance activities and ensure timely installation of new systems
- Maintain inventory of spare and repair parts
- Develop new manufacturing processes to enhance production capabilities
- Prepare and manage Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs)
- Ensure all equipment is process capable and production-ready
- Develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for assigned processes
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) for tool and layout design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of PLC programming
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
