Production Manager – Remanufacturing & Paint Operations

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee remanufacturing operations and paint departments at our facility in Solomon, KS. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, employee training, safety adherence, product quality, and process improvement while meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Leadership & Communication – Set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and ensure employees are aligned with company objectives.

✔ Safety & Compliance – Enforce safety protocols, track training completion, and ensure compliance with industry and company regulations.

✔ Production & Process Improvement – Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, enforce quality standards, and optimize production workflows to meet efficiency goals.

✔ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with service center managers, supervisors, and support teams to achieve operational objectives.

✔ Data-Driven Decision Making – Track and report daily production metrics, analyze performance data, and implement strategies to improve productivity.

✔ Equipment & Quality Control – Ensure safe equipment use, schedule maintenance, and uphold product quality standards through corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

✅ 10 years of multi-department management experience in electromechanical or transformer production (power industry or related field).

✅ Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).

✅ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.

✅ OSHA10 certification (preferred) and a strong track record of safety and quality excellence.

✅ Ability to manage team performance, training, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

✅ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in varying temperatures.
