Job Requirements:
Our Chesapeake, VA team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for an Installation Manager with demonstrated experience overseeing installation of new Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) systems and upgrades to existing systems. Primary responsibilities include:
- Plan and track shipboard installation of new computer network systems and upgrades to existing systems
- Work closely with C4 Department Heads to target MSC vessel availability periods for C4 deployment activities
- Oversee all aspects of C4 installations and upgrades, including scheduling, logistics support, interfacing with MSC liaisons and supervisors, daily tracking, problem solving, and ongoing status reports
- Manage Installation Team consisting of two Deputy Installation Managers, an Installation Project Coordinator, and a Project Planning Lead
- Attend weekly meetings, including internal StratasCorp meetings and external meetings with MSC personnel, to report the status of upcoming, current, and future installations and to identify and resolve issues that could jeopardize success for any project
- Create, update, and submit formal deliverables documenting status of C4 deployments
Job Requirements:
Must possess current IAM II certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M- Must have at least 5 years experience managing all phases of implementing C4 capabilities, including design and production, logistics, installation and test and evaluation procedures
- Must have experience managing the deployment of diverse C4 capabilities across a globally-dispersed installation area
- Must have a firm understanding of MSC policies governing the installation of C4 capabilities on MSC vessels
