Our talented workforce designs, engineers, and builds refrigerated, heated and ambient food and beverage merchandising equipment for restaurants, sports venues, airports, schools, and supermarket chains across the country.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Maintain “Case” log in EPICOR-create new or update current as needed to ensure complete documentation of the issue and solution.
- Provide email and telephone technical support, troubleshooting, and installation guidance to customers, dealers, and contractors.
- Diagnose field problems to determine root causes and ensure equipment functions as designed.
- Communicate periodic updates to customers on field and warranty issue(s).
- Assign warranty calls to external and internal service providers to ensure equipment is fixed in a timely manner.
- Determine replacement part needs and provide pricing and shipping information.
- Escalate technical issues to other Engineering team members as needed.
- Provide on-call, after-hours telephone support.
- Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. This document provides guidance and is not intended to limit the thinking and creativity of the person in this role.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years in an equipment design or engineering role.
- High School diploma and 2 years of technical training.
- 5 years in HVAC or engineering service role.
- -OR- equivalent experience and professional training.
- Excellent phone and email communicator.
- Able to troubleshoot equipment problems over the phone with field technicians, engineers, customers and sales reps using Epicor, Profile and manuals as required.
- Skilled managing time and schedules.
- Knowledge of MS desktop and ERP applications.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
