This position will join a team of four other QA personnel that is dedicated to ensuring quality parts are being produced within the Wolf Fabrication department. This position will report to the Wolf Fabrication Business Unit Quality Engineer.

Primary Responsibilities
This position will assure product quality and customer satisfaction; lead continuous product and process improvements; measure and communicate quality; assist production; problem solve and analyze root causes.
- Verify internally manufactured parts and assemblies conform to specifications
- Assisting production in problem resolution and root cause analysis
- Accurate and thorough communication of product and process deficiencies to all appropriate departments and detailing actions taken.
- Lead Quality efforts in assisting production with continuous product/process improvements and recommending changes.
- Data collection and analysis
- Update various audit forms and documents
- Conduct product and process audits
- Sorting of defective internally manufactured parts
- Assist in determining the disposition of non-conforming product
- Lead scrap reduction efforts to meet weekly and annual scrap budget
- Create and update Fabrication Control Plans to ensure accurate information for production operations
- Approve newly trained operators on aesthetic criteria of welded and finished parts

Experience
Required- Previous QA or extended on the job work experience
- Basic metrology skills (caliper, micrometer, protractor)
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain professionalism at all times
- Coordinate Measuring Machine knowledge or experience
- GD&T Knowledge/Training
- Basic statistical knowledge
- CAD training (Solidworks)
- ASQ certification
- Lean/Six Sigma training
- Knowledge of basic Quality tools (Histograms, Pareto, Run charts, Cause-effect diagrams, etc.)
Salary : $52,300 - $66,300
