DESCRIPTION
Shop Technician is responsible for performing shop valve and associated equipment repair jobs. Monitors progress report and communicates progress with the Valve Shop Manager. Shop Technician repairs/rebuilds valves and frac equipment to API specifications and completes all required documentation.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION
- Minimum of 1 years of valve repair experience and field service work preferred.
Effective verbal, written, reading, and communication skills are required.
Knowledge of operation of valves and frac valves and components.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply)
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Performs shop repairs/rebuilds of rental valve and frac equipment.
Performs daily housekeeping tasks assigned by Valve Shop Manager.
Assists in shipping/receiving functions assigned by supervisor.
Completes all documentation for repair/rebuild and testing.
Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
Follow specific written instructions and API procedures for all jobs presented.
Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $31,300 - $39,700
